Steven J. “Steve” Reynolds

Steven J. “Steve” Reynolds, 52, of 5195 Rosemary Lane, Camilla,

died Sunday, January 22, 2012 at his residence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25 at Mt. Zion

Baptist Church with interment in Cool Springs Church Cemetery. 

Rev. James Cain will officiate.

Pallbearers include John Swain, Anthony “Punk” Swain, Ramsey

Presley, Nicky Hynote, Joe Faircloth, and Johnny Walsh.

Born November 22, 1959 in Mitchell County, Mr. Reynolds was the

 son of the late Ruby Mae Newton Reynolds.  He was a member of

Mt. Zion Baptist Church.  Mr. Reynolds was a farmer and a horse

trader.  He was known as the “Love Doctor” to many and loved the

outdoors and his animals, especially his dog, Josie.

Survivors include his wife, Charlettie Harrell Reynolds of Camilla; 

four children, Michael Mote of Birmingham, AL, Darrian Mote of

Shreveport, LA, Anthony David Pollock of Tifton, and Jason Pollock

of Pelham;  his father, Dallis T. Reynolds, Sr. of Pelham;  one sister,

Linda B. Hendry of Tallahassee, FL;  three brothers, Dallas T.

Reynolds, Jr. of Knoxville, TN, Tony Reynolds of Phoenix City, AL,

and Dewayne Reynolds of Camilla;  eleven grandchildren and one

great grandchild. 

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 24 at

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.
