Olivia C. McClain

Olivia C. McClain, 72, of Newton, died Friday, January 27, 2012 at Phoebe

North Hospital in Albany.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 30 at Lakeside Baptist

Church with interment in the church cemetery.  Rev. Thomas Snead will officiate.

Born February 14, 1939 in Baker County, Mrs. McClain was the daughter of

the late Mac Gordon and Jesse Mae Smith Collins.  She had formerly worked

for Coats and Clark of Albany and was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. 

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

Survivors include two daughters, Pamala Verner of Albany and Sandra Bruner

of Albany;  one son, David Brock, Jr. of Newton;  the father of her children,

David Lamar Brock of Newton;  one brother, Charles Collins of Leary;  six

grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, January 29 at Parker-Bramlett

Funeral Home in Camilla.
