Troy Neal Shiver

Troy Neal Shiver, 86, of Camilla, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at his

residence.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home with interment in Oakview Cemetery in

Camilla.  Rev. Andy Hall and Rev. Joe Poitevint will officiate.

Pallbearers include Jesse Johnson, Jud Shiver, Troy Johnson, Neal

Shiver, Pete Johnson, Bernie Shiver, Jerry Palmer, and Carl Shiver. 

Honorary Pallbearers include Larry Wood, Fred Bullard, Jimmy Shiver,

Freddy Bateman, Herbert Green, and Pinecliff Baptist Church Mens

Sunday School Class.

Born December 15, 1923 in Mitchell County, Mr. Shiver was the son

of the late Troy Norman and Bessy Cook Shiver.  Mr. Shiver was

retired from Mitchell EMC and was a member of Pinecliff Baptist

Church.  He was a veteran of the  Merchant Marines.  He was

preceded in death by a daughter Krista Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Louise Lee Shiver of Camilla; a son,

Norman Neal Shiver & wife Linda; son in law, Pete Johnson; g

randchildren, Jud Shiver & wife Amy, Jesse Johnson, Troy Johnson

& wife Kim, Neal Shiver & wife Lori, Pauline Shiver, Jennifer Shiver,

 and Brooke Woods; great grandchildren, Will Shiver, Olivia Shiver,

Julia Anne Shiver, Maggie Shiver, Allie Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson,

Tyler Shiver,  Noah Anderson, Hannah Woods, Parker Woods, Abby

Woods, and Garrett Woods.

Visitation will be from 4 -7 p.m., Monday, August 30, 2010 at the

residence, 6259 Pinecliff Rd., Camilla, Ga. 31730.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
