                              Charles C. Worsham

 

 

Charles C. Worsham, 78, of Nelms Rd., Putney, died Thursday, January 19,

2012 at his residence.

 

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 22 at Parker-Bramlett

Funeral Home with interment in Hopeful Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Rev. Tab Howell will officiate.

 

Pallbearers will be Jerry Poitevint, Billy Poitevint, Randall Poitevint, Bobby Cutts,

Michael Cutts, and Jacob Lambert.

 

Born December 19, 1933 in Mitchell County, Mr. Worsham was the son of the

late Levi Worsham and Charlie Mae Singleton Worsham.  He was a member of

Putney First Baptist Church and had worked for G & G Go-fers Company.  He

 was preceded in death by two brothers, Ward Worsham and Albert Joab

Worsham and two sisters, Evelyn Worsham and Sarah Jeanette Worsham.

 

Survivors include his wife, Frances Poitevint Worsham of Putney;  one son,

Charles Worsham, Jr. & wife, Susan, of Gainesville, FL;  three daughters,

Sharon Worsham Shuman & husband, Darrell, of Douglas, Deborah Worsham

of Albany, and Katrina Worsham Williams & husband, Robert, of Doerun;  three

brothers, James Worsham of Reedley, CA, Tex Worsham of Blakely, and Johnny

Worsham of Camilla;  four sisters, Jean Farmer of Albany, Scarlett Stetter of

Albany, Madge Harrington of Lady Lake, and Betty Chitwood of Montgomery,

AL;  10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.      

 

Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m., Saturday, January 21 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral

Home in Camilla.

 

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
