Obituary for Lillie Mae Pullen Bullard

Lillie Mae Pullen Bullard, 93, of Sale City died Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 25 at Sale City Baptist Church with interment in Pelham City Cemetery. Rev. Tim Bozeman will officiate.

Active pallbearers will be John Itson, Bill Welch, David Blackwell, Jacob Clark, Cary Cox, and David Clark. Honorary pallbearers will be Fred Gurley, Don Bridges, Jerry Corbin, Joseph Davis, Malcolm Walters, and Norman Cox.

Born January 9, 1925 in Gainesville, FL, Mrs. Bullard was the daughter of the late John Keaton Pullen, Sr. and Ruby Curles Pullen. She was married to the late Rev. Ferdinand Moore and Walter George Bullard. Mrs. Bullard was a homemaker and had worked at the Diana Shop in Moultrie. She was a member of Sale City Baptist Church. Mrs. Bullard was preceded in death by a daughter, Rita Bond Spurlock.

Survivors include a grandson, Edgar Bond, Jr. (Geraldine) of Sale City; two granddaughters, Mickey Pruette (Roger) of Alva, FL and Diana Young of Alva, FL; a sister, Evelyn Wimberly of Camilla; a brother, John Keaton Pullen, Jr. (Joyce) of Sale City; eight great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Sale City Baptist Church Building Fund or the Children’s Fund, Sale City, GA 31784.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
