Obituary for Charlotte Taylor

Charlotte Taylor, 80, of Pelham died Saturday, August 11, 2018 at her residence in Pelham.

Graveside funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 14 at Pinecrest Memory Gardens in Pelham.

Born December 5, 1937 in Mitchell County, Ms. Taylor was the daughter of the late Cullis Aubrey Taylor, Sr. and Frances Gurley Taylor. She was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Harry W. Taylor. Ms. Taylor was a retired school teacher, having taught for 43 years in Dougherty County, Colquitt County, Madison County, FL and Pelham City Schools. She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Pansy Pilkinton Cannon and husband, Reuben, of Lewisville, NC; two sons, Spencer Pilkinton and wife, Sabrina, of Bogart and Gregg Pilkinton of Pelham; two brothers, Cullis Taylor and wife, Beverly, of Pelham and Johnny Taylor and wife, Susan, of Pelham; sister-in-law, Ann Taylor of Tallahassee, FL; four grandchildren, Will Pilkinton, Claire Pilkinton, Ansley Cannon, and Chase Cannon; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday, August 13 at Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home in Camilla.

Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
