Obituary for Martha Lenora Shiver

Martha Lenora Shiver, 64, of Camilla died Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Willson Hospice House in Albany.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21 at First Baptist Church in Camilla with interment in Pinecrest Memory Gardens. Rev. Steve Wooten and Rev. Gordon Cloud will officiate.

Born May 1, 1954 in Pavo, GA, Ms. Martha was the daughter of the late Joseph W. McCardle and Alice Naomi Graham McCardle. She worked at the Bank of Camilla, serving as head of the customer service department. Ms. Martha was a member of First Baptist Church of Camilla, where she taught the Girls In Action Missions Class.

Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Lee Cochran and husband, Scott, of Camilla and Deana Shiver Smith of Pelham; one son, Floyd Dalton Pyle of Camilla; one sister, Mary Duggan and husband, Dennis, of Camilla; five grandchildren, Jasey Riggins, Jorey Pyle, Walt Cochran, Caroline Rogers, and Clay Smith; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her best friends, Linda Brooks, Fran Jones, and Terry Shiver.

Visitation will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, February 20 at First Baptist Church in Camilla.

Parker-Bramlett Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
